A great many are LOCALLY RAISED : all are FRESH DRIED, CAREFULLY SELECTED and INSPECTED for FRESHNESS, QUALITY and VITALITY.
Many come from small, local organic and biodynamic growers
scattered upon the landscape of Marin and Sonoma counties.
Great care is taken to PROTECT ENDANGERED SPECIES and PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE and NON-TOXIC and HARMLESS PRODUCTION PRACTICES the world over.
We aim to prevent and remedy depletion of topsoil, poisoning of water sources and waterways and destruction and extinction of plant communities. We do so by supporting our growing network of Organic and Biodynamic growers and staying informed about their practices. We use our consummer power by buying organic and local, thus developing local and regional sustainability.
LOCALLY and WORLDWIDE we are a part of a thriving network of individuals and organizations whose INTENTION and PRACTICES apply SUSTAINABLE PRINCIPLES to all phases of the "Herb Industry", no matter what the "market demands".
We carry over 150 fresh dried Organic, Biodynamic and Ethically Wildcrafted Botanicals.
Our selection is the finest and largest in the west end of our county and includes "hard to find" plants such as OSHA and LOMATIUM .
